How we started ## From an idea to a company 2024 ### The idea It started with Cannabivo: we searched for a serious, international directory of cannabis venues and found nothing like it, so we built one. Thailand was one of the clearest gaps — thousands of licensed dispensaries opened across the country after 2022, yet reliable information organised in one place was almost impossible to find. 2024–2025 ### Built in-house Two years of market-by-market research, then full in-house development. We think travellers deserve honest answers about cannabis in Thailand — a country that moved from rapid opening to a medical-only framework in June 2025 — because clear, well-documented information matters most exactly where the rules change fastest.
